ITMA’s May meeting will feature a topic that is top of mind for most  IT professionals - mobility. Topics addressed will include  what is driving the mobile revolution, and what the implications are for our organizations.  Examples of what innovation this drives, opportunities this opens up, and what challenges we are facing.  Tim Dechant, Director of Technology will present Driving Efficiencies with Mobility: Why Tablets? Why Now? We will also hear how other Michigan Companies are addressing mobility with a panel of experts from Gordon Food Services, Herman Miller, Priority Health, Steelcase, and W.K. Kellogg  Foundation.

  • Examples of mobile device innovation
  • Application development approaches

In addition our panel of Technology professionals will address some of the questions below:

  • What is the driver / business value of mobility?
  • How do you handle charges / reimbursement?
  • What do you see as coming next?
  • Which devices are you using / what do you support?
  • What is your approach to application development?
  • How are you managing security and connectivity?
